Simplicity & Friendship with Jesus

Happy Friday Friends, Leah here! This may come as a shock to you all, but today I’m simplifying my usual long-winded blog. Over the last few days I’ve been feeling a need to slow down. I need some simplicity.

Today I want to encourage you to do the same. We fill our lives so full. With things to do, people to see, and we rarely slow down. We blow off our best friend to do pretty much any and everything else…

This week I feel the need to sit face to face with my good friend, Jesus. To be in communion with God and to hear his voice. But to do this, I need to find moments to slow down and the only way to do that is to simplify. To take out unnecessary things that clutter my life, and sometimes even the necessary things that are less important. I don’t want to blow my best friend off anymore. Simplicity is the key, so today I’m practicing what I’m preaching and simplifying.

What can you do today to simplify and make time to be with your friend, Jesus?
