Happy weekend Ladies! Hope you have a restful weekend ahead of you!
This week I wanted to give you some verse inspiration for those times when you feel stuck. There are many times when I want to create in my bible, but I’m not finding inspiration in my daily reading or my sermon notes.
A great place to go during these times are scriptures that have good visuals in them already. This gives you a jumping off point. These verses are also good for those times when you don’t feel like bible journaling but you know you need to create to get out of a funk! (Am I the only one that has these moments?)
Here is a list of 10 verses to spark some creativity:
Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.
Proverbs 16:24 Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Ephesians 3:17-19 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Isaiah 40:31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.
Matthew 17:20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Psalm 93:4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters,
mightier than the waves of the sea,
the Lord on high is mighty!
Hebrews 6:19 We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain
Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
I hope that this list of verse inspiration can help you when your stuck in a creative rut or just not finding inspiration in your daily reading.
